Widely used in explosive hazardous areas such as oil extraction and refining, storage, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, textiles, printing and dyeing, military industry, and military facilities, it can serve as a power distribution source for lighting or power circuits, as well as for switching and control of electrical equipment or for maintenance and repair power distribution. It is suitable for Zone 1 and Zone 2 hazardous locations in explosive gas atmospheres; for Class IIA and IIB explosive gas atmospheres; for environments with temperature class T1 to T4; and for combustible dust environments in Zones 21 and 22.
