With the replacement of sodium vapor lamps along Xianglian Avenue in Tianyuan District, Zhuzhou City, by state-of-the-art LED luminaires, a new chapter of smart urban lighting has been written. Drawing on the innovative “LED + individual luminaire controller” model implemented in the Zhuzhou project, our smart lighting system enables precise control of each luminaire, hierarchical dimming, and real-time monitoring. Equipped with a self-developed intelligent control system and leveraging big data analytics, the system automatically adjusts illumination levels based on pedestrian and vehicle traffic patterns at different times of day, thereby ensuring travel safety while achieving scientific energy savings.
