Recently, the General Office of the CPC Central Committee and the General Office of the State Council issued Opinions on Deepening Reform of Industry Associations and Chambers of Commerce, clearly defining, at the highest level, the direction for these organizations to undergo market‑oriented, standardized, and professional transformation. At the same time, industry associations are encouraged to fulfill their service roles by conducting industry statistics, carrying out policy research, promoting technological advancements, and participating in the development of industry standards, thereby facilitating the adoption and widespread deployment of new technologies and products such as smart lighting, health‑focused lighting, and outdoor cultural‑tourism lighting. Furthermore, associations are supported in establishing industry platforms to help lighting companies engage in Belt and Road international exchanges and contribute to the formulation of international standards, thus expanding their overseas market presence.
