In recent days, heavy rains have fallen across many parts of our city, causing the water level in Zhuzhou to approach its historical peak and turning numerous areas into severe disaster zones. In response, the Party Branch Committee of Zopoise Technology (Zhuzhou) Co., Ltd. and the company’s Human Resources and Administration Center have mobilized all employees to launch a flood-relief fundraising campaign titled “Fighting Floods, Providing Disaster Relief, and Rebuilding Our Homes: Zopoise Employees Stand with the People in the Affected Areas.”

According to reports, in Puwan Village, Zhuting Town, Zhuzhou City, floodwaters have inundated four roads totaling 6 kilometers, triggered 13 landslides, submerged 35 houses—three of which have collapsed—and flooded more than 1,200 mu of prime farmland. A total of 325 residents have been affected, with 225 urgently evacuated. In Shiting Town, two sections of the river embankment have breached, resulting in severe flooding; the disaster has impacted 21,000 mu of land and 18,000 people, making the situation extremely grave. Upon learning of the disaster, the Party branch of Zopoise immediately reached out to the affected areas to assess the situation and promptly organized a fundraising drive within the company. Subsequently, led by the branch secretary, a team comprising Party member representatives, department heads, and heads of technical divisions was dispatched along two separate routes to the front lines of flood relief—in Puwan Village, Zhuting Town, and Jixian Village, Shiting Town. Given the severity of the disaster and the urgent need for assistance, the principle of “when one region is in trouble, support comes from all directions” was put into action: following the fundraising, condolence funds were swiftly delivered directly to the affected communities.

In this disaster relief effort, the Party branch of Zopoise allocated 20,000 yuan from party membership dues, while on-site fundraising by the company raised 16,379.8 yuan and contributions from the technology company totaled 3,322 yuan. We hope that this modest contribution will help the affected communities weather the crisis and rebuild their homes. “Fighting Floods, Providing Relief, Rebuilding Homes—Zopoise Employees Stand in Solidarity with the Affected Communities.” When the flood struck, the Zopoise Party branch fully leveraged its role as a grassroots stronghold, composing a stirring anthem of unity and concerted effort to safeguard our shared homeland.
