Prior to the meeting, in order to enhance understanding of the importance of holding organizational life meetings and the necessity of thoroughly addressing formalism and bureaucratism, the Party branch organized all Party members and prospective members to study in depth Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era and other relevant documents, as well as the spirit of the speech delivered by Wu Xiaoguang, Secretary of the Party Committee and Director of the Municipal State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission, at the CITIC Group meeting on July 31. In addition, the branch’s committee members held candid conversations with one another and with Party members.

During the meeting, the Party branch secretary set an example by reporting on the implementation of corrective measures from the previous organizational life meeting and on the work carried out in the first half of 2019, as well as by identifying existing problems in the construction of the Party branch. The secretary then took the lead in conducting criticism and self-criticism and made a statement pledging to address the Party branch’s feedback and implement the necessary rectifications. Subsequently, each member of the Party branch committee spoke in turn, engaging in criticism and self-criticism, proposing targeted corrective measures, and making corresponding statements of commitment to follow through.

Jia Xiancai fully commended everyone’s remarks and stated that this organizational life meeting was well conducted and yielded tangible results. He pointed out the following: First, the preparatory work for the meeting was thorough. Second, the mutual self-examination and criticism—both constructive criticism and self-criticism—among the branch committee members were well grounded and candid. Third, the corrective measures proposed for both the branch and individual members were practical, acknowledging both achievements and shortcomings. Fourth, in the next phase of rectification, responsibilities must be clearly assigned; issues that can be resolved immediately should be addressed without delay, while those requiring long-term solutions must be persistently pursued, with concrete measures and verifiable outcomes—there must be no “staying the same” or “all talk and no action.”

At the meeting, Jia Xiancai put forward the following requirements on how the Party branch can enhance its capacity to drive enterprise development. First, we must strengthen the Party’s leadership in guiding development. There is no politics divorced from the economy, nor an economy detached from politics; therefore, the Zopoise Party branch must serve as a robust fighting fortress and ensure that Party members set exemplary standards, thereby leading and inspiring all employees to pursue sustained growth. Under the Group’s initiative to build the “Original Aspiration Tree” brand for Party building, the Zopoise Party branch has created its own “Bright Branch” brand. Now that we have our own brand, we must make it truly effective: through brand promotion, we should attract more outstanding individuals to join the Party. Second, we must enhance our capacity in production and operations. Party building and business operations must be deeply integrated; we should leverage Party leadership to improve and achieve better results in production and operations—this is not about treating them as separate, disconnected entities. As a manufacturing enterprise, Zopoise’s top priorities are to deliver high-quality products, then use sound management and operational efficiency to sustain production, with the ultimate goal of achieving sustainable development. Third, we must strengthen our capacity for pioneering and innovation. As the saying goes, “Third-rate companies make products, second-rate companies build brands, and first-rate companies set benchmarks.” Zopoise must regard R&D as a key driver of long-term growth, develop core products and cultivate core competitiveness, continuously innovate, and strive to become a benchmark enterprise. Fourth, we must enhance our commitment to integrity in professional conduct. Every employee at Zopoise must uphold ethical standards, stay within the red lines, avoid crossing any forbidden boundaries, and maintain a profound sense of respect and accountability: with every bit of authority comes corresponding responsibility, and we must always keep integrity at the forefront of our minds. Fifth, we must strengthen our capacity for performance improvement. Zopoise operates directly in the marketplace; to effectively capture market information, make swift and informed decisions, and enhance our competitive edge, we must boost efficiency and adapt to the demands of the market economy. The Party branch must refine its learning mechanisms: it is responsible for the direct education, management, and oversight of Party members, while also providing guidance and services to non-Party members, all in order to promote efficiency and contribute to the enterprise’s development. Sixth, we must enhance our ability to manage and mitigate risks. This begins with addressing risks arising from the market environment and the international context, followed by managing risks related to inventory, accounts receivable, and cash flow. We must closely monitor policy developments, remain vigilant about our own situation, and promptly use business data analysis to identify and neutralize potential risks.

Finally, Jia Xiancai summarized: “What is life? Life is ‘unceasing struggle’! As President Xi has said, ‘We are running hard; we are all dream-chasers.’ I hope that, under the leadership of the Party branch and with the support of CITIC Group, Zopoise will continue to forge ahead on an ever-expanding path of development.” The organizational life meeting concluded after Li Ji, Secretary of the Party branch, delivered a statement.

Tan Deming, Deputy General Manager of Zopoise Technology (Zhuzhou) Co., Ltd., along with representatives from the technology company, Lizhong Company, the Shenzhen branch, Party members, and the general workforce, attended this organizational life meeting as observers.
