To deeply commemorate Chairman Mao and other revolutionary martyrs, carry forward the revolutionary spirit of the older generation of proletarian revolutionaries, enhance the Party consciousness of branch members, strengthen their ideals and convictions, and bolster the cohesion of the Party branch, on May 11 the Zopoise Party Branch organized a themed Party Day activity entitled “Commemorating Revolutionary Martyrs and Carrying Forward the Revolutionary Spirit,” during which all Party members of the company visited and studied at Chairman Mao Zedong’s former residence in Shaoshan.

At the Mao Zedong Memorial Park, party members toured the exhibits showcasing the various pivotal periods of Mao Zedong’s revolutionary career. They listened attentively to the inspiring stories of revolutionary pioneers such as the “Five Heroes of Shaoshan,” led by Mao Fuxuan, as well as the tales of Mao Zedong’s own family members—whose sacrifices alone claimed the lives of six loved ones at a young age. Moved by Mao Zedong’s selflessness and the profound sacrifices made by his family, and deeply touched by the revolutionary spirit of the Shaoshan Special Branch of the CPC and the people of Shaoshan, many could not help but shed tears.

After gaining a deeper understanding of Mao Zedong, the Party members proceeded to the Mao Zedong Statue Square. With profound reverence, they paid their respects before the bronze statue of Chairman Mao, laid floral baskets at its base, and bowed three times in deep solemnity, thereby expressing their enduring remembrance of the Chairman. On the right side of the statue, facing the bright red Party flag, the Party secretary led all members in raising their right hands and reciting the Party membership oath once more.

Party members unanimously expressed that this patriotic education has profoundly enabled them to appreciate the spiritual strength embodied in Mao Zedong Thought: “Great aspirations are born of great sacrifices; we dare to transform the heavens and earth”; “Past generations toiled arduously, so that later generations might enjoy peace and prosperity.” We will carry forward the spirit of our revolutionary martyrs, steadfastly uphold the essence of Mao Zedong Thought, adapt to the demands of the new socialist era, remain true to our original aspiration and keep our mission firmly in mind, and propel the development of Zopoise Company to a new height and create new glories!
