The Party Branch of Zopoise Held the 2017 Organizational Life Meeting and Democratic Evaluation of Party Members

On the morning of March 21, 2018, the Party branch of Zopoise convened its 2017 organizational life meeting and democratic evaluation of Party members. The meeting focused on thoroughly studying and implementing the spirit of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, firmly establishing the “four consciousnesses,” and steadfastly upholding the “four confidences.” It centered on assessing whether work styles are pragmatic, whether Party members effectively fulfill their roles, and whether they maintain strict self-discipline, while closely linking these assessments to actual work conditions. Participants conducted in-depth identification of specific problems, carried out profound analyses of their Party character, and earnestly engaged in criticism and self-criticism. Luo Yong, Secretary of the Party Committee of CITIC Group, attended the meeting and offered comments, and Zhong Taibao, Vice Chairman of Zopoise Company, was present as an observer.

During the meeting, Huang Jianxiang, the Party branch secretary, delivered a self-examination and对照检查 on behalf of the branch leadership team, identifying existing problems. Party members then examined the branch’s Party-building work, pinpointed issues, and put forward suggestions and recommendations. Following the sequence of “first the branch secretary, then the branch committee members, and finally the ordinary party members,” a method of “one person speaks, others offer assistance, and the process is carried out item by item” was adopted to conduct criticism and self-criticism. Finally, a democratic evaluation was conducted, with participants scoring one another.

Secretary Luo Yong of the Party Committee of CITIC Group delivered a concluding address. He expressed full appreciation for the successful conduct of this organizational life meeting at Zopoise, noting that the preparatory work had been thorough, the atmosphere on site was positive, the issues raised were analyzed in depth, the feedback provided was candid and constructive, and the corrective measures proposed were clear and effectively implemented. At the same time, he put forward several recommendations for next steps, including better integrating ideological theory with practical business operations and conducting timely summaries. He emphasized that the primary purpose of the organizational life meeting is to identify gaps and improve performance, and urged all participating Party members to adopt a conscientious attitude and enhance their awareness. He further instructed all Party members of the Zopoise branch to build on their strengths, intensify their study of policies and theories, raise work standards, step up their efforts, focus on problem-solving, refine their working methods, strengthen their ability to analyze and resolve issues, address existing problems in branch development, and elevate all aspects of grassroots Party building within the Group to a new level.

Finally, Huang Jianxiang delivered a concluding and statement speech on behalf of the Party branch, stating that she would take this organizational life meeting as an opportunity to thoroughly identify the root causes of existing problems and formulate practical and feasible plans and measures for rectification. She also urged every Party member in the branch to humbly accept criticism and suggestions from all sides, improve their working methods, enhance their professional competence, and, in conjunction with the company’s various business operations, fully demonstrate the exemplary and leading role of Party members among the masses. Following the meeting, participants unanimously expressed that it had been an open and candid organizational life meeting, during which they analyzed problems, strengthened consensus, and underwent rigorous Party-member training—efforts that will help the Party branch and the company achieve new successes in their work for 2018.
