On October 14, 2017, all Party members and prospective Party members of the Zopoise Party branch participated in a volunteer activity titled “Lighting Hearts, Melting Loneliness” to care for elderly people with disabilities in Communities 430, Yuegui, and Furong, thereby promoting the fine Chinese tradition of loving and respecting the elderly.
This volunteer initiative aims to bring warmth and care to elderly people with disabilities, enabling them to feel the community’s compassion and fostering genuine human connection and friendship, ultimately helping to fulfill their small but meaningful wishes.
Through this event, the fine virtues of respecting, honoring, and caring for the elderly were promoted, thereby putting into practice and carrying forward the traditional moral values of the Chinese nation. All Party members and prospective Party members at Zopoise demonstrated their exemplary and leading role through concrete actions, fostering in society a widespread ethos of respecting the elderly—“caring for one’s own elders as well as others’ elders”—and a strong atmosphere of concern and support for elderly persons with disabilities. In doing so, they inspired everyone to embrace civility, serve others, and spread positive social energy.
